Anne Marie Friis

Anne completed her master’s degree in English translation and interpretation from Copenhagen Business School in 2003 and immediately established AB Star Translation I/S in collaboration with Barbara Østergaard, which they ran for 5-6 years. During this period, Anne also worked at various companies, such as the patent and trademark firm Chas. Hude A/S, the translation firm SDL and Virksomhedsskolen, a language course provider.
Anne’s employment with Bech-Bruun law firm marked the beginning of her deep interest in the legal language area, which was actively cultivated in the following years at Nets and PwC, during which finance and economics also became part of her specialisation.
In private, Anne is a serious tennis enthusiast, so much so that she has launched a webshop selling a Belgian brand of tennis clothes. Moreover, she enjoys travelling as often as she possibly can, preferably with a book in English in her hand.

Josephine Brendstrup Kaasing
Holding an MA in translation and interpretation, Josephine is a certified translator (previously called state-authorised translator) with more than 20 years of experience
Josephine completed her master’s degree in English from Copenhagen Business School in 1998 and has since then worked for a number of major international companies such as DHL Worldwide Express, Kellogg's and Danisco. From 2004 to 2020, she worked in the accounting and consulting industry – first at Grant Thornton and later at PwC.
Languages – mainly English and Danish – have throughout the years been a major part of her work by means of translation and proofreading of material for all areas of the organisations. Josephine’s employment with Grant Thornton, however, initiated her professional specialisation in the financial and economic language areas, in particular financial statements, long-form audit reports, auditor’s reports, IT reports, due diligence reports, etc.
Much of Josephine's spare time is spent on singing in choirs, and she also thoroughly enjoys spending time with family, including her dog. Moreover, she likes reading a good book as often as time permits.
